Animals A-E

This month we will be learning a letter a day! Taking an adventure learning about different animals. My kids love animals!!! This month we are learning about phonological awareness. This begins in the early years of a child’s life and continues to build as they enter kindergarten.

LETTER A – ALLIGATOR HABITAT

Where do alligators live? How big are real alligators? What do you think a real alligator feels like? We use these prompts with our kiddos as we create our alligator habitat.

LETTER B – BIRD PUPPETS

We recited our two little bird rhymes together as we colored our bird puppets. I love how unique each puppet turns out.

LETTER C – SANDY LETTER C FOR CAMEL

We colored our letter C with crayons and then added sand and our camel sticker. We talked about how many humps camels have and where they live.

LETTER D – DOLPHIN COLLAGE

LETTER E – ELEPHANT TRUNK

Our elephant trunks were a hit we enjoyed pretending to be elephants!

SMALL GROUP LITERACY – JOURNALS

Experience Early Learning Curriculum does an amazing job providing activities for our kids that are fun, engaging and encourage them to learn. We love our journals and love working independently!
