DESERT NIGHT

Deserts are some of the driest places on earth. There are three types of deserts: hot deserts, cold deserts, and coastal deserts and in each desert, there are different types of animals. This week we will learn about the desert cottontail, coyotes, and rattlesnakes.

DESERT COTTONTAIL PUPPET

What do you do at night? What do you think a cottontail does at night? Desert cottontails are nocturnal which means they are out at night. We used kwik stix for our cottontails.

DESERT POSTCARD

We talked about what we would like about in the desert. What animals and plants. We decorated our postcards with desert cactuses and talked about to who we would send our cards. I love our kids creativity and excitement to learn.
