GARDEN VISITORS

Experience Early Learning Curriculum is an amazing curriculum that provides so much to the teachers. We are provided a teachers guide along with core curriculum tools. Each day is lined out with suggestions on Circle Time, Small Group Literacy, Creative Art and Table Top Math. We are given supplies, and a list of what we will need for each day. This makes it easy to set up for the week. Experience Early Learning Curriculum is also flexible where I can put my own spin on it!

THIS WEEK WE ARE TALKING ABOUT GARDEN VISITORS

MOLE

Where would you go if you were in a tunnel? We encouraged the kids to cut paper strips in different lengths. They then glued and took there mole and traveled it through the tunnel. I’m just sure we would find one in our backyard if we looked hard enough. Experience Early Learning Curriculum gives us many opportunities to learn through fun activities. Their continuing research on how to best benefit our children’s learning is what I am most excited about.

MY PET TOAD

This was our favorite activity of the week we made our very own pet toad. We created habitats and talked about what is different about toads and frogs. We then played pretending they were our pets!

BEE LETTERS

We practiced writing letters on our bee. After we hunted for letters around the room and wrote them on our bee. We invited them to see if they found letter Ff our letter of the week on their paper.

POPPIES

We enjoyed our invitation to create making poppies. We painted our paper and then tore our red tissue paper to resemble a poppy. I LOVE how each child used the same supplies but the end result is amazing and so different
