SETTING UP MY ROOM WITH MOTHER GOOSE MATERIALS
Each month when setting up my room I think of what season we are in and put together the Mother Goose Wall, I of course added a couple of things to this wall that my kids really enjoy. I choose a helper each day that takes a look at the weather, season, and dresses the weather guy. I have not got the wall completed in this pic below but it is almost done.
Once I have the Mother Goose wall done I start to unpack and organize the curriculum, during the week when I receive it the kids like to go thru and see what we will be working on, but I save the tearing apart out of the bags until the weekend.
I pull out each bag and organize by day in a closed file folder and organize in order into my file cabinet. Leaving out just the current week separated in my organizers below.
I use the stem projects outside and even take the lessons outside to complete. We like being outside it gives us a sense of freedom. We also like the freedom of this curriculum.
Below I put together the Mother Goose Wall here below is not finished. I also added the weather chart because the kids love it. Each child has a day they help.
I love the fables but this week I think the stories were a little advanced for my group.
These kids love unboxing our curriculum!
Always love your kids, be willing to give of your time, money, energy, and love.
She had me cracking up! They always like to take a sneak peek into the boxes and choose a day to look at. She chose this one, I said give me a big ole smile and this is what we got.
Just something fun we did this week.
Smells like you could eat it…yummy!
We have kept it in a Tupperware container and it has been great all week.
