Often we underestimate children and their ability to understand matters that are important. They get more than we know.
We need to teach kids empathy for each other, being respectful, kind to others, and compassionate. We leave an imprint in this world by how we act. If we start now we can teach them the many positive things there are to influence the future. Recognize the worlds needs and respond with compassion and action. The world will be a better place.
A Good life comes from having the right attitude and taking the right actions. Here a few things that make life great:
- having fun
- enjoying the love of family and friends
- doing things that you love to do
- becoming all that you can be
- helping others
- enjoying each moment
This past week we were talking about animal habitats. Why the animal builds them with what? and how?.
We learned this week a lot about building empathy for the environment, and exploring habitats. We also learned that people are not the only ones who live in homes, animals also live in homes such as nest or dens. Some animals work together and some work alone. We learned that animals also leave an imprint in the world. We were fascinated when we studied how they work to build there habitats and how amazing they turned out. The Beaver Dam and The Birds Nest are their favorites!!!
LOOKING FOR ANIMAL HABITATS AROUND US
“People leave imprints on our lives, shaping who we become in much the same way that a symbol is pressed into the page of a book to tell you who it comes from. Dogs, however, leave paw prints on our lives and our souls, which are as unique as fingerprints in every way.”
